Drew Barrymore’s ex-boyfriend Justin Long has reportedly already moved on to his next celebrity girlfriend, just a week after splitting from the Music & Lyrics star.

Justin was spotted with Kirsten Dunst in New York on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and while the pair have been friends for a while, a source told OK magazine the pair were behaving like they are now more than just friends: “Justin was holding Kirsten’s hand while walking around downtown NYC in the SoHo area.

“They stayed out all night and Kirsten was all over him and kept leaning in to kiss him.”

A friend of Kirsten’s added: “She’s always had a bit of a crush on Justin.”

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long have broken up, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

"I can confirm the split with no additional comment," said the spokesperson.

Barrymore, 33, and Long, 30, were first linked in August of last year, when they were spotted at the Los Angeles hotspot the Chateau Marmont.

By November, the pair – who costar together in He's Just Not That Into You – were getting serious. They spent a PDA-packed holiday in Connecticut, including Thanksgiving with Long's family in his hometown of Fairfield.

In the following months, the couple seemed inseparable, partying in Vegas, celebrating Barrymore's birthday with Cameron Diaz in Los Angeles and hiking in Hollywood.

In the March issue of Vogue, Barrymore said of the relationship, "My cheeks hurt, I'm so happy."

Long, appearing with Barrymore on The Oprah Winfrey Show, described her as "the most compassionate person I've ever met."

Barrymore and Long recently celebrated his birthday in Michigan, where they are both currently filming projects.

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long have broken up according to her rep’s confirmation to US Weekly.

The 33-year-old star from E.T. and the 30-year-old actor famous for his Apple ads, have been together for almost a year, dating back to last August.

Ironically, the couple both star in the film He’s Just Not That Into You, which opens in February.

Drew Barrymore and boyfriend Justin Long may have met on the set of He's Just Not That Into You, but nothing could be further from the truth, a friend of couple says.

"They're two peas in a pod, they're made for each other," Sam Rockwell told PEOPLE at the Cinevegas Honorees Reception at Las Vegas's Planet Hollywood Resort.

Rockwell, who was receiving one of the festival's "Half Life" awards, said the make-out-happy couple are both sensitive people.

• Drew Barrymore and Justin Long Engagment?

Beach-loving couple Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were being spied on by fellow diners at Hugo's in West Hollywood, who (lucky for us) happened to hear the two discussing possible wedding plans on May 10. According to a witness who dished to In Touch, "[Drew] said she wanted to find a wedding planner and [Justin] said they should look at engagement rings that day. But Drew said, 'You know what I like, surprise me.' They seemed very happy."

She should be more specific, or she might end with a iPod as a ring. And unless she and I have exactly the same taste, that might not go over as well as Justin has planned. Actually, now that I think about it, I'd prefer a MacBook Pro...

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long chow down on some chow at the restaurant, Mr. Chow, in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Drew, 33, will be playing ‘Little’ Edith Bouvier Beale in the upcoming film Grey Gardens alongside Jessica Lange who will play her ‘Big’ Edith Bouvier Beale.

They will play the aunt and first cousin of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis. The film depicts the everyday lives of two women who lived at Grey Gardens, a decrepit 28-room mansion in the neighborhood of East Hampton, New York.

Grey Gardens is scheduled to be released November 2008.
